Grade E, £40,750 - £46,150 p.a. inclusive of London Weighting depending on experience. Full time role. Part time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
The Registrar is a key appointment for this exciting co-educational venture between City of London School for Girls and City of London School. The school will be based at Gray’s Inn, within walking distance of both senior schools. Pupils aged 7 to 11 will learn in the former City Law School building which will be remodelled with newly designed classrooms. They will also use Gray’s Inn Hall for lunch and some of the open space at lunchtime.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and personable candidate who will ensure we attract the strongest applicants for places from girls and boys, initially into year 3. Entry to the school will be academically selective. The role holder will be responsible for helping to market the school and developing smooth and efficient processes, which enable all candidates and their parents to enjoy a positive experience of the school.
The Registrar will report to the Head of the junior school, bursar and director of external relations.
Applicants will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and will have significant experience in admissions or marketing in an educational context. Strong analytical, strategic and creative thinking skills are essential, as is the ability to lead other staff and manage administrative processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build and sustain effective working relationships across the family of schools. Up to date knowledge of market trends and adaptability, paired with a focus on the customer experience will also be essential.
