Excellent pastoral care and support are fundamental to ensuring the girls achieve their best in all areas of school life. CLSG is a warm, good-humoured and close-knit community, with a diverse social and cultural mix of students. It is in this environment that our girls learn to be respectful of themselves and others, to take responsibility for their actions and words, and to be resourceful when in come to finding solutions to the challenges that they will inevitably encounter.
Every girl has a Form Tutor and a Head of Year who looks after her, keeps an eye on her progress and helps her to maximise her potential and enjoy her time at school. The school is divided into sections; the Preparatory Department (Years 3 - 6), the Lower School (Year 7 and 8), the Senior School (Years 9, 10 and 11) and the Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13), with each section working as a team to provide top-quality pastoral care.
In addition, the girls are able to access support from our School Counsellors, the Learning Support Team, the Careers Department and the School Nurse.
