City of London

School for girls

The Millennium Library is situated on A floor and is open from 8.30am - 5.30pm. All students are members of the Library and may borrow as many as 10 books and DVDs. Books are loaned for 28 days and DVDs for one week.

The Library holds approximately 20,000 books, a growing collection of eBooks and DVDs which support the school curriculum. Any suggestions for new books to add to stock, both fiction and non-fiction can be given to the library staff. The school community has access to the London Library’s many online databases and ejournals for extended research.

Students are welcome to use the library before school, and at lunch and break time. Sixth form students may use the library at any time for private study.

The Library is a hub for independent learning and the teaching of research skills to all students. Supported by a qualified Librarian, girls can pursue their literary interests through book clubs, author visits and other extra curricular events to encourage reading for pleasure.
