City of London

School for girls

Throughout the year there are many opportunities for students from CLS and CLSG to meet and work together. These include Drama productions at both schools, our annual concert, the annual sponsored walk, regular debates, socials run by the Friends of both schools for Years 7-9, Sixth Form quiz evenings and a Sixth Form Physics trip to CERN.

In the Sixth Form, girls develop their links with the City of London School through their organisation of formal events including the Leavers’ Ball, a speakers’ programme, joint drama performances and concerts. This builds on the co-ed activities in their previous years at the School. The Science Department also arranges joint lessons with CLS, to prepare students to sit the UKCAT (UK Clinical Aptitude Test) and the BMAT (Biomedical Admissions Test) which they need to do to apply to university to read Medicine.
