Storm go out with a bang!

On 1st and 2nd July, Young Enterprise company, Storm, went to compete at the 'Company of the Year UK Finals' at the British Film Institute on the Southbank.

14 teams from all over the UK (including England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and even Gibraltar) took part in the competition. Storm performed brilliantly throughout and made it to the final five who went head-to-head on Thursday evening!

14 teams from all over the UK (including England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and even Gibraltar) took part in the competition. Storm performed brilliantly throughout and made it to the final five who went head-to-head on Thursday evening! Unfortunately they did not win ‘Best Company in the UK’ and therefore do not go through to the European finals. However, they did brilliantly to finish in the top 5 in the UK as over 2,200 schools took part.

Competing students were Yasmine Salam, Simran Sohanpal, Harriet Lister, Nana Owusu-Ansah and Lorna Hunter.  Other Storm company members include Valentina Bellani, Anunya Bahanda, Caroline Scarcliffe, Elyse Husain, Emily Redhead, Cherie Abeyawardene, Eva Simjanovic Chichger, Annie Gheasuddin and Chloe Taylor.
