London Junior Chess Championships

Year 10 pupil, Naomi Wei, has won =2nd place at the London Junior Chess Championships Under 16 Division, 28th-30th December.

She scored 4.5/6 (4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss), only half point away from the 1st place. The result and cross table are available at www.ljcc.co.uk.

Naomi was also selected to play former world champion Vladimir Kramnik in the first round of Super Rapidplay at London Chess Classic on 6th December. This is an once in life time opportunity for her to play against such a super star one-to-one in a formal match. The match has been reported in various media including:
