In these unusual times of lockdown, CLSG Law Society has not been deterred from consolidating its London-leading position in advocacy.
Two of our top barristers, Jolie and Niamh (both in Year 11) have been mentoring students from different year groups using a customised scenario based on an imagined crime at a boarding school. The aim is to establish a core skill set with a particular focus on cross-examination.
Jolie, mentoring Year 9, said: "It has been a great opportunity to work with the younger years, who are wonderfully receptive.” Niamh, mentoring Y11, added: "Remote learning has inspired many lively debates.” Mr FitzGerald, mentoring Y10, is grateful to them for their hard work.
Mock Trials IV and V await in the next academic year!
Mr FitzGerald, Master in Charge of CLSG Law Society
