100% of Year 3 and 4 pupils achieve distinction in LAMDA examination

Just before the start of the remote summer term, the Prep Department received some morale-boosting news. The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) had awarded Years and 3 and 4 a ‘Full House’ of Distinctions in their LAMDA Examinations.

Since the Prep Department started LAMDA Examinations over a decade ago, although results have come tantalisingly close to achieving Distinctions for all candidates, this is the first time it has actually happened.  What is even more remarkable, is that both classes were doing their first examinations  (Year 3 Reading for Performance; Year 4 Speaking Verse and Prose) and following the new LAMDA syllabus.

Congratulations to Year 3 and Year 4 for their great effort, focus and resilience.
