In consultation with the City of London Corporation and the Chair of Governors, and in line with other schools, we made the decision to move to a remote learning provision off-site from Wednesday 18 March.
Our central aim is to protect the quality and continuity of learning, and to provide the reassurance of the school day structure for our pupils as far as possible.
For our Year 11 and 13 pupils it has been a particularly difficult time, and we are developing a relevant programme for Year 11 that will put them in a good position for their A level courses in the autumn. We are also committed to providing Year 13s with an interesting and valuable term of education, as we continue to support them in making the transition to their next stage of learning.
While we are still only beginning to find our way into our new, temporary virtual existence, we are incredibly proud of our school community for the way they have tackled and adapted to this unprecedented challenge. This school has faced turbulent times and significant challenges over its 125 year history, and we know that it will weather this one with the spirit and fortitude of our wonderful community behind it.
