Physics Course at the University of Warwick

From 25th to the 27th March, City girls Rebecca Eden and Talitha Linley attended a specially designed Physics in Engineering residential course. The program was held at the University of Warwick, aiming to encourage students to consider a future in this area.

From 25th to the 27th March, City girls Rebecca Eden and Talitha Linley attended a specially designed Physics in Engineering residential course. The program was held at the University of Warwick, aiming to encourage students to consider a future in this area.

Fifty students were involved over three days, where they were challenged and enlightened through a variety of presentations and practical exercises. Academic staff and PhD students led masterclasses and workshops and guided students thoughout their learning.

Guest speaker, Roger Hoyle from Bloodhound SSC, explained the challeneges of current engineering and advised students the many opportunities the future holds for careers in this field.
