125th Anniversary School Reunion

On Thursday evening, we welcomed almost 300 former students back to the school for a reunion hosted by City of London Old Girls' Association (CLOGA).

The celebrations began with a fantastic musical performance by the school Swing Band, as alumnae from the classes of 1955 to 2018 reconnected with old friends. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves in the school hall. Some of our guests had not returned to the school since the 1960s, when parts of the Barbican were still being built.

The former students enjoyed drinks and food as they looked at photographs from schooldays gone by. Self-guided tours continued throughout the night, as the ladies explored the building. A number of additions and alterations have been made to the school over the years, but many of the alumnae commented on how familiar it still felt to them as their memories flooded back and they tried to remember the names of their former teachers.
