On 25 June, we travelled to Oxford to attend the Oxford German Olympiad prize giving ceremony, where we received our award as winners for the open category to create a four minute film in German about animal testing. This is a national competition aimed at German language learners of all ages and from all over the UK.
At the ceremony we were able to meet some of the other participants, and as we were in Oxford we had the opportunity to look around the city and go into the Bodleian Library. We would highly recommend for any German students to take part, as it is very helpful with developing your language skills, and who knows you might even win!
