On 31 January, the students had the privilege of taking part in the Chinese Enrichment Day. They were offered an oriental music-based workshop, which demonstrated various styles of Chinese music and dance. They use props and accessories, such as coloured fans and handkerchiefs, which also help to make the performances more expressive
During lunchtime, there was a traditional Chinese dance and music performance open to the whole school, with the classical instruments, Pi Pa and Gu Qin. Our girls found it was interesting to see how the tradition of ancient music is being kept alive throughout generations.
