On Tuesday morning, Year 7 completed their second group challenge of the year.
The theme this time was Mathematics and the eleven tasks set included making a rotatable ring of tetrahedra, cracking a coded message and producing a garden design. The groups were also asked to consider the importance of developing team-working skills and the positives and negatives of working together to solve problems. There was an industrious and lively atmosphere in the New Hall as students tried to solve as many of the tasks as possible in the time available. Well done Year 7, the results will be announced very soon.
