On Thursday 15 June, a group of Russian students on a study visit to London and to Islington Centre for English, came to visit the school. Upon arrival, they were given a talk about the UK education system and discussed similarities and differences with Russia.
We were lucky enough to be given the chance to meet them and teach them some Spanish whilst we learnt some Russian. Some of us did tours of the school while the rest of us spent some time getting to know them better, helping them practise their English and learning more about their country’s culture.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and many of us made new friends. Thank you Señor Spall for giving us this opportunity and the Russian chocolate which was ‘para chuparse los dedos’ (really tasty!).
