On Wednesday 3 February, all pupils in years 9 and 10 sat down to tackle the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, an annual country-wide competition that demands mathematical reasoning to answer interesting multiple choice conundrums.
Alexandra in year 9 insists "it was an enjoyable experience, despite having to do it remotely. The challenge got increasingly difficult as the questions went on and near the end the problem solving questions were very interesting and a good way to stretch our minds. It was also a nice way to mix up our normal routine and do something outside of the curriculum. We are all waiting for the results to come out"
