As the holidays approached, and students and teachers collectively prepared to pack up their home desks to return... er... home, a dilemma emerged: how to celebrate getting through this rather strange remote half term together? With gathering round communal party rings sadly off limits, students were instead set a series of fun challenges to complete at home.
Students in every year chose between a Come Dine With Me challenge (cooking a meal for their family), a Bake Off challenge (making a showstopper or technical bake), a photography challenge (capturing 'life in lockdown'), an art challenge (recreating a famous piece of art using only household items) and a poetry challenge (writing a song about how society might change after the pandemic). The results were shared among form groups in PSCHE on Wednesday, and we’ve compiled a selection of the best for you here!
