COVID-19 Update | A Virtual School
In consultation with the City of London Corporation and the Chair of Governors, and in line with other schools, we made the decision to move to a remote learning provision off-site from Wednesday 18 March.
Our aim at City is to empower young women, champion future thinkers and celebrate the power of difference.
As part of #Biology enrichment Year 11 student, Lola, made this video exploring our ancestors! #CLSGgoesvirtual (part 1 of 3) https://t.co/HbC2Zbk6Db
Whether it's a tutor group Masterchef competition, form time origami, or going on a live, virtual canal tour with their form tutor in a salvaged boat, City girls continue to be so well looked after by their tutors in Lockdown! #CLSGgoesvirtual
This afternoon Year 7 girls have created audio/videoguides on famous Spanish and Latin American painters and their works of art, including Frida Kahlo, Dalí, Picasso, etc. ¡Fantástico chicas! @CLSGgirls #CLSGgoesvirtual https://t.co/zx87yvF5PA
Principles of CLSG Operations in Crisis
During a time of crisis our decisions will be informed by these aims:
We are working hard to mitigate risk to our returning pupils and staff in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a range of adaptations and actions. We have undertaken extensive risk assessments.
The Government strategy of social distancing is the main control measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 along with a range of additional control measures to mitigate residual risks. If you would like more information about the actions taken, please contact the school.
