Swimming
Girls of all ages take full advantage of the indoor swimming pool. There are lunchtime clubs which enable girls to focus on improving swimmers' techniques and times. Girls compete in the inter-house swimming competition as well as inter-school events, such as the London Schools Swimming Gala and the National Bazooka Competition.

- The Prep swimming team won the Primary Schools Gala at Golden Lane for the seventh successive year.
- Bazuka Championships: Junior team came 2nd and the Intermediate team came 3rd.
- London Schools Championships: U16 team finished 4th and the Intermediate team 3rd.
- LSSA Relay Event: our senior finished 3rd, while the intermediates came 3rd and the junior team came 4th.
- Twenty-three girls took part in the Lord Mayor’s City Dip raising over £1200 for his charity.
Water Polo
In addition to swimming, City also offers water polo. It is considered one of the toughest and most physically demanding sports, requiring fast swimming, great physical strength and high cardiovascular stamina. During training sessions, held once a week during lunchtimes, girls work on their hand-eye coordination, reflexes and handling and passing the ball.
2007-8 Success
The school's water polo team worked enthusiastically through 2007 and won 2 of their inter-school matches. One member of the team has also enjoyed success in the sport outside of school. She has been selected for the Great Britain Youth Women’s Water Polo Team and competes in the national league one weekend per month.
Diving
The School's Diving Club is a popular club, as they transfer skills from gymnastics, trampolining and dancing to both the springboard and tower. Girls from all ages and abilities are welcome to participate and top performing students are often selected to compete in competitions such as the London Youth Games.
