MEET THE HEAD GIRL TEAM

 Being a City sixth former gives you   independence and endless opportunities to take on positions of responsibility.

With numerous student led societies, ranging from literary to quantum club, the school enables you to develop and share your own interests with people throughout the school.

The combination of small classes and the strong relationships with teachers makes lessons more enjoyable. City welcomes a diverse range of characters making the Sixth Form a close knit community. As a Head Girl team we look forward to maintaining this atmosphere and implementing some of our own ideas in the school. These include:

  -The previous sixth form have developed a brilliant system of peer mentoring which we hope to continue. In addition to academic mentoring we hope to introduce ‘personal mentors’ where sixth formers can offer support and share their of city life to other girls throughout the school

 - As part of the sixth form duties we raise money towards the Sixth Form Bursary fund, and in the coming year we want to organize various events to raise the profile of this worthwhile cause

 - We would like to reduce the carbon footprint of the school

 - With the success of so many student-led initiatives including: music and drama productions, school magazines and inter-school conference, we aim to continue to celebrate the best of student talent.

City Sixth Form promotes individuality whilst motivating every girl to achieve their full potential, providing a steady platform from which to move forward to life after City.
