All academic departments make maximum benefit of our geographical location to enrich the curriculum. Educational visits to museums, galleries, theatres and lectures
are regularly arranged to support and enhance the girls’ learning. These include subject related trips as well as extra-curricular opportunities that are not necessarily subject specific.
City strives to ensure that all girls achieve their full potential and the inclusive atmosphere ensures every girl has an opportunity to shine. There are extra-curricular clubs, teams and societies to suit everyone’s interest. Whether it is languages, business, law and politics, the creative arts or sports, there is an activity to suit everyone. Sixth Form students, who run a number of the societies, also have the opportunity to start a new activity.
These extra-curricular clubs and activities are set alongside opportunities in schemes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Young Enterprise.
