The end of year is an emotional experience, especially for girls in the Upper Sixth, for whom it marks the end of their days at City. The warmth and affection they have for the school, their teachers and their friends shows clearly in their final celebrations.
All girls continue their studies at university, art college or music conservatoire level, amongst which Oxford, Cambridge, Leeds, Bristol and Edinburgh prove popular destinations. Many defer university and take a gap year to travel, study or work abroad.
