I am delighted to announce the appointment of Miss Jane Rogers as Head of the Prep at CLSG, with effect from September 2010. She will be succeeding Mr Jonathan Brough who takes up the position of Head of Hurlingham School at the same time.

Miss Rogers is currently Senior Teachers at The Lyceum, London, where she has been since 2004. Prior to taking up this post, she worked for 14 years at the Institute of Education as a Lecturer in Primary Education, later becoming Course Leader for one of the Primary PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate of Education) Courses. She has also co-authored a book "Planning Matters: The Impact of Development Planning in Primary Schools" and prior to working at the Institute spent 9 years as a primary school teacher in the Maintained Sector in London.

Miss Rogers was educated at Chelmsford County High School for Girls before reading Geography at University College London. She has a 15 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. Her interests inlcude opera, reading, poetry and India.

We very much look forward to her future contribution to City of London School for Girls and specifically as Head of the Prep.
