Scenes of celebration and relief filled the school as girls discovered the results of their public examinations. A-Level students were overjoyed to learn they earned a combined results of 97.8% A - B grades, while GCSE students celebrated a combined results of 94.4% A*-A grades. Girls in the Prep Department joined in the celebrations, with every child in Upper 2 scoring Level 5 in English and Mathematics in these externally assessed tests.

The School believes that these exceptional results are due to the students’ unwavering commitment, a team of dedicated teaching staff and a belief that education means much more than exam results. Miss Vernon, Headmistress, commented, “We are all very proud of their achievements. The girls have the benefit of an education that not only challenges their abilities under examination circumstances, but has also enabled them to prove themselves across many other areas of school life.”

Girls enjoy the wide variety of activities within the School and develop an enjoyment of learning, which enables them to perform impressively under examination conditions. Their achievements help to prepare them for their futures, whether they are continuing at City, taking a gap year or fulfilling their university dreams.
