University Applications, Leavers' Destinations and Successful Alumni
The Careers Office gives encouragement and assistance when it comes to making decisions about higher education.
Many girls take a gap year and use the time to learn a new skill, to gain employment experience, to do voluntary service or to travel. Virtually every City leaver goes on to higher education at university, art or music college. For the past ten years every pupil who has obtained the required grades has been offered a place at medical school, and there have been successful applications in other extremely competitive courses such as Veterinary Science, Law and Physiotherapy. Whether your passion is for English or Engineering, History or Human Sciences, we have the experience to help you succeed.

Could you help support the Careers Department? We are very keen to support CLSG pupils in preparing for their future by giving them the chance to hear about, and experience different careers and occupations by contact with the people currently working in them.
