Geography is concerned with understanding the nature and functioning of the physical and human environments within the world, while exploring your relationships to them.
Students will study both physical and human landscapes on a local and global scale and investigate
the processes that affect them and how and why they change over time.

History
History provides students with a perspective on the present through studying the past. Students learn to develop skills which help them to select, organise, analyse and evaluate various source materials and to develop effective arguments. These skills are invaluable in helping to make sense of information in the modern world.
History of Art
Pupils are introduced to the visual side of their cultural heritage through a study of the major artistic movements of Western Art from classical times to the present day.
We discuss and analyse the most significant painters, sculptors and architects within their cultural, religious and historical framework. Pupils learn to analyse the formal structure of works of art, and the importance of composition, colour and space for expressive purposes.
