Welcome
The City of London School for Girls Friends’ aims to foster partnership between parents and the school, between parents and parents and to provide additional support to the school in order to enrich the lives of the girls. We believe that parents’ involvement benefits the whole school community and encourages our daughters to thrive and achieve their potential. It is also fun to join in and great for sharing the journey as our daughters grow into young adults.


Friends Activities
Like many parents, we appreciate the task the school faces in balancing fees against the facilities available for our girls and therefore, feel pride in being able to help fund the extras that we hope will contribute to the ‘City Experience’. Along the way, we have fun and it is always good to meet others who can share the ups and downs of our developing adolescents. Above all, we work hard to maintain a close and trusted partnership with the school in order to make a difference with the support we provide.


Who's Who
Membership is by subscription and any parent may opt out. Any parent who is a Friend can stand for election to the Friends Committee, which is the main body responsible for organising and marshalling Friends’ events. The Committee draws from parents and includes City staff. In addition, we have liaison with CLS and the CLS Friends.
