Applicants should have obtained the age of eleven before 1st September in the year of entry. Your completed registration form should reach the Admissions Officer by Friday 21 November before the year of intended entry.

The entrance examination, held during the Spring Term, aims to test the skills of the candidates, whatever their background. Papers are set in English and Mathematics; sample questions can be found below.

Following written papers, a short-list of candidates are called for an interview, and from these the final selection will be made. Girls who have accepted places to enter the Third Form have the opportunity to visit the school before the Autumn Term begins.

The entrance examination for girls wishing to enter City of London School for Girls at Year 7 (11+) will be held on Friday 16 January 2009 (date to be confirmed).
